Elementary homeschool science
Recommended to be taken during one of the highlighted years.

In homeschooling, many parents track their children together even though they are different ages. Our courses are designed to allow for this while still challenging and thoroughly addressing the upper grades with added content and course work..

laptop homeschool Suitable for 4th to 6th grades.   This course is presented in such a clear, concise, and interactive manner, that students find themselves enjoying and succeeding in science. Students use “real life” projects in their experiments, helping to make the scientific principles they are learning tangible. The course covers all of the standards and benchmarks set by the National Science Education Standards for Physical Science:  4th to 8th grade.
7th or 8th grade physical science course.  Additional chapters, lessons, and experiments (included with the standard course) for 7th and 8th grades make this an engaging and thorough middle school level physical science curriculum covering all of the standards and benchmarks set by the National Science Education Standards for Physical Science: through 8th grade.
If a student has a limited background in physical science, this can be used in 9th grade as well.
box CD Comes complete with the interactive and thorough textbook (on CD) of 36 chapters (120 lessons), a student logbook, teacher's manual, and all necessary materials to complete each project and experiment.

Designed for ease, the student completes one chapter each week (three lessons) for thirty six weeks. Each lesson includes an experiment or activity and takes between 30 and 45 minutes to complete. There are extra chapters specifically for the middle school students who are taking this course called "further studies." See below for more information.

There are a few basic tools and supplies that will be needed such as a pencil, scissors, and low-melt glue gun. For a specific list, click here.

Below is an explanation of how each lesson is laid out.

Student Logbook

Students use the logbook to record answers to the questions in their lessons and to record experiment data. They also use it to review for the quizzes and the unit exam.

For the parent/teacher it becomes a great portfolio and documentation of the course work completed by the student. For sample pages, go to our sample lessons page.

Teacher's Manual

The teacher's manual includes an overview of assessment and grading, scope and sequence, a complete answer key with sample hypothesis and theories, and unit reviews/tests.
