Chapters & Questions
Each lesson begins with a chapter on the CD covering the scientific principle the student will be learning. This is followed by comprehension questions. Click here for lesson samples.
Projects & Experiments
Each scientific principle is applied in an experiment or activity, typically using the student-built project. The step-by-step pictorial instructions on the CD ensure success. Click here for more details on the projects.
In addition to the vocabulary and review quizzes found at the end of each section, the advanced version includes four quarter exams. Also included are study guides specifically designed to teach the student how to prepare for the exam.
Student logbook & Teacher’s Manual
The student logbook is used to record answers and scientific data using the scientific method. It also includes an index/glossary. The teacher’s manual has the answer key with sample hypothesis and theories, and assessment pages. Click here for logbook samples pages.
